RuckPack Raises $150K in Venture Funding via Shark Tank

RuckPack, a Los Angeles, CA-based producer of caffeine-free nutritional supplement beverage, received $150k in venture funding.

Backers include Shark Tank‘s Kevin O’Leary and Robert Herjavec, who invested $75k each and got a 10% stake each in return.

The company intends to use the capital to expand production as well as to extend national distribution.

Founded by Marine combat veteran Major Rob Dyer, a professor of economics at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, who had the idea on the battlefields of Afghanistan in 2008, RuckPack offers a single serving nutritional shot that supplies vitamins, electrolytes and ingredients the body needs for peak mental and physical performance.
