Always Prepped Raises $650K in Seed Funding

Always Prepped, a Washington, D.C.-based education technology startup, has raised $650k in seed funding.

The round was led by True Ventures with participation from angel investors Hooman Radfar, Chairman and Founder of AddThis, and Todd Gibby, former Blackboard EVP.

Founded by CEO Fahad Hassan, Always Prepped focuses on classroom data management for the K-12 marketplace. It aggregates and analyzes student classroom performance, attendance and behavior metrics from several online programs in a single dashboard for teachers.
Hassan’s first company, Daylert, was acquired in 2008 by Intelliworks, a CRM platform.
Always Prepped is currently available in beta for all K-12 teachers.
