NodeFly Raises $800K in Seed Funding

According to reports, NodeFly, a Vancouver, BC, Canada-based provider of an application and server monitoring service, has raised $800k in seed funding.

Backers include Shasta Venture Partners and other investors, including Issac Roth (Red Hat, Makara, Wily Technology), Irfhan Rajani (Apparent Networks), Paul Rochester (Sun, Layer 7) and Dimitri Sirota (Layer 7).

The company intends to use the capital to continue to advance its a real-time monitoring service for Node.js to give web and mobile application developers vital insights that are affecting their users and thus their business.

NodeFly is led by CEO Glen Lougheed and CTO Eugene Kaydalov.
