LongTail Video, a New York City-based provider of self-serve video solutions for web publishers, has completed a $5m Series B funding.
The round was led by Greycroft Partners, with participation from Cue Ball Capital.
The company intends to use the funding for new product development and expansion of sales and marketing efforts.
Led by Dave Otten, CEO, LongTail Video provides video solutions including the popular JW Player, which is used by over 15,000 customers among Fortune 500 companies, design agencies, individual developers and bloggers, and hosted services that include ad delivery, video management, transcoding, streaming, and hosting.
The company also has an office in the Netherlands.
