Fresh Dish, a Los Angeles, CA-based mobile meal delivery service, has raised $500k in funding from Battery Ventures.
Co-founded by CEO Steve Goldstein, the company has also launched its Fresh Dish app in the iTunes App Store, which allow users to receive every week a dinner kit containing fresh pre-prepped ingredients, measured and individually packaged along with a simple recipe inspired by top chefs, for $8 per meal per person.
Incubated in the technology studio Science Inc., Fresh Dish is now available in most parts of the western region (most areas in California, Nevada, and Arizona) and will be available nationwide in early 2013.
