deets, Inc. a Westport, Connecticut-based provider of a communications and collaboration tool for mobile devices, has raised $1.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Connecticut Innovations (CI), which has made a $750k through its Seed Investment Fund, with participation from individual investors.
In conjunction with the funding, Pauline Murphy, CI managing director of investments, will join deets’ board of directors.
Founded in 2011 by CEO Linda Miller, deets provides mobile sharing and collaboration solutions that dynamically synchronize contacts and let users manage group conversations and collaboration all from a single mobile dashboard. they are available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, as well as for the Web. A tool for the Android is currently under development and will be released in Q1, 2013.
The company also has an office in Los Olivos, California.
