Calcivis Receives £1.2M in Funding

Calcivis, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based dental medical device company, has received £1.2m in funding from Archangel Informal Investment.

The company intends to use the capital to develop and manufacture its technology.

Based at the Edinburgh BioQuarter, Calcivis focuses on technology for the visualisation and assessment of active tooth decay and demineralization, which was developed by co-founders Chris Longbottom and Nigel Pitts at Dundee University.
The company is led by CEO Adam Christie.
