TitanFile, a Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada-based online document transfer startup, has raised $1.1m in funding.
Backers include Innovacorp and members of the First Angel Network.
The company intends to use the capital to advance its technology and expand into new markets.
Co-founded by CEO Milan Vrekic and CTO Tony Abou-Assaleh, a former Google engineer, TitanFile has developed an app that allows users to group their contacts into real-time communication channels and then drag and drop files into those channels from various file sources.
It works on multiple devices, including personal computers and tablets.
