Financial Fairy Tales Ltd, a Bournemouth, UK-based global education company, has raised £20k in equity crowdfunding.
Twenty-two investors have acquired a 20% stake in the company via CrowdCube.
The company intends to use the capital for marketing and product development to continue to grow internationally.
Formed in 2012 and led by Daniel Britton, Financial Fairy Tales offers a collection of story books and online resources (an activity book, a teacher’s guide and an online eCourse) to teach children values and principles of money.
The books are currently read by people (children, parents and teachers) in over 15 countries worldwide.
