Eruditor Raises $4M in Funding

Eruditor, a Moscow, Russia-based provider of online marketplaces for freelancers and businesses, has raised $4m in funding.

The round was led by Intel Capital, with participation from Runa Capital.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its team and grow existing and new verticals.

Established in 2006 by Egor Rudi, CEO, and Sergey Kuznetsov, CTO, Eruditor provides an online comprehensive search, reviews and rating system to help users find the most suitable service provider for their needs across a variety of domains including health, beauty, tutoring and sport instructors, among others.
It currently serves professionals and businesses in all major cities of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan operating under several brands including Infodoctor.ru, Krace.ru and Vash–Repetitor.ru.

The Intel Capital investment team for Eruditor was led by Maxim Krasnykh.
