Cozy Raises $1.5M in Seed Funding

Cozy, a San Francisco, CA-based startup that provides a landlord-tenant relationship management service, has raised $1.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Chamath Palihapitiya’s The Social+Capital Partnership, with participation from Google Ventures, Jason Calacanis, Tim Ferriss, and Gary Vaynerchuk.

Co-founded in March 2012 by Gino Zahnd, CEO, and John Bragg, CTO, Cozy aims to make the entire rental real estate process transparent and secure, and available anywhere by providing tools that allow landlords and renters to manage the screening, credit checks/reporting, and paying relationship. The company, which is currently in beta, emerged from i/o Ventures, the San Francisco-based incubator and co-working space.
