Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton Publishes Memo on Incentives for Innovative Start-Ups in Italy

On October 4, the Italian Government approved a Law Decree (read here), also aimed at promoting the establishment and growth of innovative start-ups in Italy.

On October 5, 2012, international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton* published an alert memo entitled, “Incentives for Innovative Start-Ups”, which describes the measures applicable to the innovative start-ups, including:
– amendments to (or exemptions from) the existing rules applicable to Italian companies, aimed at facilitating the esteblishment of startups, by eliminating bureaucratic and legislative barriers; and
– economic incentives, including tax benefits and support for access to credit.
