BuildDirect.com, a Vancouver, BC, Canada-based e-commerce provider of heavy weight building materials including flooring and decking, has raised $4m.
The funding was provided by BDC IT Venture Fund.
The company intends to use the capital to continue to grow and give angels and seed investors some liquidity.
Co-Founded in 1999 by CEO Jeff Booth and Executive Vice President, Sales, Robert Banks, BuildDirect.com proides a data-driven technology platform for the manufacturing and sale of building materials including flooring products, decking, siding, roofing, kitchen, bath and landscaping materials.
The company also has with eight warehouse locations.
