Tackk Raises $400K in Seed Funding

Tackk, a Cleveland-based online publishing platform focused on single use and disposable content, has entered public beta with a $400k seed funding.

Backers include Hatch Partners and several Cleveland area investors.

In conjunction with the funding, Robert Hatta, of Hatch and a former vice president of JumpStart, Inc., joined Tackk as COO.

Co-Founded by Dan Klammer and Eric Bockmulller, and led by CEO Christopher Celeste, Tackk allows users to instantly create, publish and share content on the web by simply visiting its home page, creating a “Tackk”, sharing it with social networks or the Internet at large.
Common uses include invitations, events, for sale items, recipes, job and apartment listings, birth announcements, and trip photos.
It can be customized with 30 colors, 15 fonts, and 15 backgrounds, as well as photos, embedded media, maps, comments, contact forms, and customizable URLs.
Along with the launch and funding announcements, Tackk announced a new strategic partnership with digital agency Resource Interactive, which will head up its mobile platform and enterprise development.
