Speek Raises $100K in Funding from the CIT GAP Funds

Speek Inc., a Sterling, Va.-based provider of alternative solutions to conference calls for both web and mobile users, has raised $100k in funding from the CIT GAP Funds.

The company intends to use the funding to build out its product and accelerate growth. To this end, it is also hiring a developer, a designer and an intern (http://www.jobscore.com/jobs/speek).

Led by CEO John Bracken, Speek offers a SaaS “conference table” visual experience that allows participants to see who is on the call and who is currently talking.
The product, which requires no downloads, also features note taking, file sharing and muting certain speakers.
