SIGFOX Closes €10M Series B Funding

SIGFOX, a Toulouse, France-based operator of a cellular network fully dedicated to Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things communications, has closed a €10m Series B funding round.

The investment was led by Intel Capital, with participation from existing investors Elaia Partners, Partech Ventures International and iXO Private Equity.

The company intends to use the capital to deploy a very low throughput network covering the whole of France and several foreign countries.

Led by Ludovic Le Moan, CEO, SIGFOX leverages its patented UNB technology SIGFOX to bring innovation to the M2M and Internet of Things world by enabling large-scale connection of objects.
