Localytics Raises $5.5M in Series B Financing

Localytics, a Cambridge, MA-based enterprise app analytics service, has launched a new app marketing platform and raised $5.5m in Series B financing.

The round was led by Polaris Venture Partners, with participation from all existing investors (Launchpad Venture Group, New York Angels, and Hub Angels).

The company intends to use the capital to expand its app analytics and marketing automation platform.

Led by Raj Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO, Localytics currently supports over 350 million iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, Windows devices for large enterprises, small businesses and independent developers.
The new solution completely integrates app analytics and marketing to allow publishers to deliver highly targeted messages to users in real-time based on their app usage. App analytics are used to optimize and measure the performance of each message against the engagement, monetization and customer lifetime value goals set by the marketer.
