Kinesense Raises €620K in Funding


Kinesense Limited, a Dublin, Ireland-based provider of video content analysis (VCA) software, has raised €620k in funding.

The round was led by Kernel Capital, which made a €500k investment through the Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund, with participation from BES and angel investors.

The company intends to use the capital to accelerate international growth and expand its solution range.

Founded in 2009, led by Sarah Doyle, CEO, and supported by Enterprise Ireland, Kinesense has developed innovative CCTV video retrieval and analysis solutions (based on artificial intelligence) for the law enforcement and security markets in particular. The company’s systems are currently in deployment with police forces and security agencies in Ireland, UK, Europe, Canada and North Africa.
