GreenStack Launches Savings App at TechCrunch Disrupt; Raises $600K in Seed Funding

GreenStack, Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based mobile app start up has launched its free, location-based savings app for the iPhone at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2012.

According to a written statement, the company has raised $600k in seed funding. The backers were not disclosed.

Founded in early 2012 by serial entrepreneur David Hehman (CEO), GreenStack develops mobile apps designed to make saving money fun and easy. Its initial product, named greenstack, is a free iPhone app that provides location-based discount redemption while dining in the San Francisco region.

National deployment, as well as shopping and entertainment, will be released soon.

The company’s patent-pending technology brings “stacking” to the deals marketplace – where coupons, sales, loyalty and membership benefits, etc., are instantly combined and redeemed on-the-spot.
