Roberto Esposito is taking off, actually! The CEO of DeRev, an Italian venture backed startup that helps campaigners raise funds and spread the word of their causes, has released his new book: “Figure di Merda” (literally “shitty situations”), published by Sperling & Kupfer, €10, pages 144.
Already an artist, a satyrical blogger, and a Guinness recordman (a post on his Facebook fanpage doubled the previous record of comments, which had been owned by Cityville!!!), Esposito has leveraged the power of social networks (facebook.com/figuraccia has over 700,000 subscribers) to collect a series of epic fails – hilarious and embarassing situations in which people daily come across and probably won’t forget for the rest of their life!
Following the round of funding DeRev.com raised at the beginning of August 2012 (read here), I contacted Roberto to arrange an interview (read here). We became Facebook friends. While waiting his answers to my questions, I red a fun status of him and his life as a strartupper. I asked him if I could publish it.
