eXelate, a developer of data and analytics technology for digital advertisers, has closed $12m in third funding.
The round has been led by NewSpring Capital, with participation from existing investors Carmel Ventures, Menlo Ventures and Trident Capital.
The company intends to use the capital to further expand its global presence, and enhance its product suite, both organically and acquisitions.
Founded in 2007 and led by Mark S. Zagorski, CEO, eXelate provides demographic and purchase intent information on over 400M online unique visitors worldwide, through the collection of directly measured online data and distribution partnerships with leaders such as Nielsen, Nielsen Catalina, MasterCard Advisors, Bizo, etc.
The company has offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, London, Paris and Tel Aviv.
In conjunction with the funding, Glenn T. Rieger, a General Partner of NewSpring Capital will join eXelate’s Board of Directors.
