BrightContext Receives Investment from CIT GAP Funds

BrightContext Corporation, an Arlington, Va.-based provider of a platform to build applications that process large streams of real-time data, has received an investment from the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT).

The company intends to use the funds, whose amount was not disclosed, to capture their initial customers as well as to develop the product.

Co-founded by John Funge and Leo Scott, BrightContext provides a cloud-based platform that enables developers to build applications that can ingest large volumes of real-time data, process the data on the go and broadcast results among large numbers of users.

The investment was made via the CIT GAP Funds
