BeGo Raises Venture Capital from Midven

BeGo, a Coventry, UK-based business which helps overseas students settle into life in the UK, has raised an undisclosed venture capital funding from Midven.

The company intends to use the funding to increase its offerings in term of services.

Founded by Gaston Chee and Jennifer Leong, BeGo offers an online portal to help students pre-arrange a range of services before they arrive in the UK, enabling them to concentrate on their studies without wasting time and efforts on tasks such as arranging everything from opening a bank account to selecting a mobile phone to buying insurance.
The company’s online portal will initially focus on students arriving from the Far East and will be written in the appropriate language of each country.

Midven made the investment via the Early Advantage fund.
