ROVOP, an Aberdeen, Scotland, UK-based independent specialist operator of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) servicing the offshore oil & gas and renewable sectors, has received a debt financing from the Scottish Loan Fund.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The funding will provide working capital for the acquisition of additional ROVs to be used in fulfilling long term wind farm contracts recently secured with major international marine contractors.
Led by Mark Vorenkamp, Scott Freeland and Steven Gray, ROVOP provides services including:
– Pipeline inspection, repair and maintenance
– Platform inspection, repair and maintenance
– Wind farm cable laying and inspection

– Survey support
