PlusN Raises $600K in Seed Funding

+n (PlusN, LLC), a New York City-based provider of carrier aggregation software solutions for increasing capacity in mobile data networks, has raised $600k in seed financing.

Backers include venture investors and angels such as Franklin “Pitch” Johnson of Asset Management Corp, Chris Brody of Vantage Partners and John Levy.

The company intends to use the funding to accelerate product development and commercialization efforts.

Led by co-founder and CEO Per von Zelowitz and and Chairman John Levy, +n develops smart software solutions that enables mobile communications providers to capture additional capacity from their existing networks and spectrum resources, partnering with technology vendors and original equipment vendors.
Its patent pending Smart Carrier Aggregator uses innovative signal processing techniques enabling mobile operators to cost effectively generate significantly more mobile data capacity in their networks. The software will be deployed in macro and small cell base stations, enhancing the value of advanced data networks including existing technologies such as 3G, 4G and beyond.
