MobileSpaces Closes $3M Series A Funding

MobileSpaces, an outside of Washington, DC-based enterprise Mobile security startup, has closed a $3m Series A funding.

The round was led by Accel Partners.

Co-founded in in 2011 (as CellSec) by CEO David Goldschlag, former VP of Mobile at McAfee, and CTO Yoav Weiss, a security veteran, MobileSpaces offers a security and management solution that protects corporate apps and data on personal mobile devices. Within the company’s BYOD policy-managed workspace, enterprise apps run natively and share information, while ensuring that enterprise data is secured and isolated.

In conjunction with the funding, Rich Wong, a Partner at Accel Partners, will join MobileSpaces’ board.
The company also has offices near Tel-Aviv, Israel.
