Megadyne Receives €20M Equity Investment from Fondo Italiano di Investimento

Megadyne, a Mathi, Turin, Italy-based producer of thermoplastic and thermoset Poliurethane belts, rubber belts and various material pulleys, has received a €20m equity investment from Fondo Italiano di Investimento.

Fondo Italiano has acquired a minority stake in the company, which intends to use the proceeds to expand in new markets.

Founded in 1957 by Corrado Tadolini and currently led by Giorgio and Marco Tadolini, Megadyne is a leder in the production of Poliurethane belts with applications in different industrial sectors. The company today employs about 1,500 people with a turnover of €180m in 2011.
