Funium, a Provo, Utah-based creator of Facebook games, has raised $1.8m in seed funding.
The round was led by Family Odyssey, with additional funds coming from other angel investors.
Led by Jeff Wells, president & CEO, Funium released a pilot version of its free Facebook game, Family Village, which helps players explore their real family trees while building an online community, in June 2011.
The company intends to use the capital to complete the development of Family Village.
