Front Up Raises £100K in Equity Crowdfunding

Front Up, a Sutton Coldfield, UK-based rugby fashion brand, has raised £100k in equity crowdfunding via Crowdcube.

Through the pitch, 64 backers have totally acquired a 20% stake in the company, which plans to use the funding to develop its website (http://www.frontup.co.uk), as well as its wholesale business through connections with John Lewis, House of Fraser, The RFU and others, expand and refine its product offer and range, grow its brand ambassador platform to generate social media content, word of mouth and place product with the right people, and form 3rd party partnerships with professional players, media partners and complementary brands.

Founded in 2005 by Jon Allen, Front Up is backed by a number of professional players and a team of experienced retailers, including England International James Haskell, who is also a board member.
The company currently has over 12,500 customers.
