EarlyShares, a Miami, Florida-based equity crowdfunding platform for start-up companies, has completed a $1.15m first round of Series A funding.
Investors include board members Bruce Langone and Stephen Cornick.
Co-founded by Renee Caputi, Maurice Lopes and Stephen Temes, EarlyShares offers a platform where entrepreneurs can pitch their business ideas and connect with interested investors registered on the site. It is currently available in 24-city U.S. Educational Road Show.
