BrightWhistle Inc., an Atlanta, Ga-based social patient acquisition platform provider, has raised $2.05m in Series A funding.
Backers include Eastside Partners, Hamilton Ventures, angel investor Paul Iaffaldano and healthcare technology focused angel investors Fred Goad and G.T. Laborde.
The company intends to use the funding to continue development of its solution.
Established in 2010 by CEO Greg Foster and COO Chad Mallory, BrightWhistle provides health care providers, insurance companies, and other health care institutions with a complete Social Patient Acquisition solution which is designed to enhance a provider’s online profile while targeting high value patients and procedures through search and social media. The company also provides its platform to select marketing agencies with specialization in healthcare.
BrightWhistle also announced new clients including Piedmont Healthcare, Duke Raleigh Hospital and Dekalb Medical.
