TaskRabbit Raises $13M in Series C Financing

TaskRabbit, a Boston, MA-based services marketplace, has raised $13m in Series C financing.

The round was led by Founders Fund, with participation from existing investors Shasta Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Shervin Pishevar, and 500 Startups.

In conjunction with the funding, Founders Fund’s Bruce Gibney will join TaskRabbit’s Board of Directors, along with former eBay Vice President and current Trunk Club COO Rob Chesney.

Led by founder and CEO Leah Busque, TaskRabbit is an online and mobile marketplace that allows users to connect with reliable people right in their neighborhood to get things on daily their To-Do list done.
Currently it is active in Boston, SF Bay Area, San Antonio, Austin, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, LA & OC, and New York City.
