Open English, a Miami, FL-based online English language school, has raised more than $40m in financing.
The round was led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from Redpoint Ventures and existing investors Flybridge and Kaszek.
Open English, Latin America’s leading online English language school, has secured more than USD $40 million in its latest round of financing led by New York-based Insight Venture Partners.
The company to continue to scale in key markets throughout Latin America (mainly in Brazil).
Launched in 2006 by CEO Andres Moreno, co-founder and CEO, Open English provides 12-month live online classes with native-English-speaking teachers to more than 50,000 students in 20 countries.
