Mashery, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of API management platforms and strategy, has raised $10m in funding.
The round was led by OpenView Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Cisco, Formative Ventures, First Round Capital and .406 Ventures.
The company plans to use use the funding to broaden its global operations, sales and marketing force, and further expand adoption of APIs to scale business-critical functions.
Founded in 2006 by Oren Michels, CEO, Mashery provides companies with API Management technology and services to build API-powered platforms for opening new distribution channels and speeding time-to-market.
Customers include ABC News, Choice Hotels, Cisco, ESPN, Harper Collins, Intercontinental Hotels Group, USA TODAY, Expedia and Travelocity, among others.
