Breker Verification Systems, a Mountain View, Calif.-based SoC Verification Company, has raised $5m in Series A funding.
The capital was provided by Astor Capital Group, a private equity fund out of Far East Asia.
The company intends to use the funding as working capital to scale operations, expanding in all areas of sales, support and research and development.
Founded in 2003 by CEO Adnan Hamid, Breker Verification Systems is an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software company that provides innovative solutions to solve the challenge of complex system-on-chip (SoC) functional verification. Its TrekSoC™ software and SoC scenario-modeling™ approach are used in production at leading semiconductor companies in the U.S., Europe and India.
TrekSoC is in production use at leading SoC design companies, including STMicroelectronics and NVIDIA.
