ARS T&TT, a The Hague, The Netherlands-based provider of solutions for Intelligent Transport Systems, has received a minority equity investment of undisclosed amount from Gimv.
Gimv, which has acquired a 25% stake, intends to help the company further expand internationally. The remaining shares will continue to be held by the CEO-founder Jan Linssen.
Founded in 1998, ARS T&TT designs, develops, implements, operates and maintains Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), which include traffic monitoring, traffic management and tolling. Customers include Nationale Databank Wegverkeersgegevens (NDW), Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), Rijkswaterstaat, Trafikverket (Sweden) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).
The company employs 160 employees in its headquarters and in its office in Trivandrum (India).
