Yext Raises $27M in Series E Funding

Yext, a NYC-based local information platform that syncs listings across a network of premium sites and mobile apps, has raised $27m in Series E funding.

The round was led by Marker, with participation from CrunchFund and existing investors Sutter Hill Ventures, Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), and WGI Group.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its platform.

Founded in 2006 by CEO Howard Lerman, Brian Distelburger and Brent Metz, Yext enables small and large businesses to instantly update their listings, information, photos and specials from one central location, end users find up-to-date info on partner sites. It now powers local information for 50,000 businesses on 50 sites.
