Roadtrippers Closes $250k Funding

Roadtrippers, a Cincinnati-based developer of a web-based application to help travelers find and purchase road trip-related travel and experiences, has closed a $250k funding.

Backers include CincyTech and three individual investors.

The company, which has also launched a beta version of its service, intends to use the capital to expand content partnerships and further develop internal purchasing routes.

Founded in Savannah, Ga., by CEO James Fisher and Tatiana Parent, Roadtrippers provides an application designed allows road travelers to discover, plan and book attractions, amenities and experiences, hand picked by local experts and travel writers.
Beginning at the end of June, users will be able to book accommodations along routes directly through the site.
