Quixey, a California-based cross-platform app search engine, has raised $20m in Series B funding.
The round, which brings the total amount raised to date to $24.2m, was led by Atlantic Bridge, with participation from SK Planet and TransLink Capital, as well as existing investors WI Harper, US Venture Partners, and Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors.
Led by Tomer Kagan, CEO, Quixey invented Functional SearchTMsearch, a new type of search that allows users to find apps that do what they want. The company, which partners with major app stores, search engines, manufacturers, carriers and web platforms to power app search globally, is moving from Palo Alto to Mountain View.
