OhMyGov Inc., a Alexandria, Va.-based media and technology firm that provides critical media intelligence, political analysis, and communication services via its proprietary open source intelligence analysis software, has received a follow on investment of undisclosed amount from CIT GAP Funds.
With this investment round, CIT’s total investment amount to $150k.
The company intends to use the funding to continue to develop its open-source intelligence analysis platform.
Led by CEO Andrew Einhorn, OhMyGov provides software to help Congressional offices, lobbying firms, labor unions, media organizations and government agencies monitor public dialogue and measure the influence of their strategic marketing and communications strategies.
The company’s research is partially supported by grants from the National Science Foundation and the state of Virginia, and was created in partnership with Georgetown University faculty.
