Gradient X, a Santa Monica, CA-based provider of a performance platform for mobile advertising, has raised $3.75m in seed funding.
Backers include Rincon Venture Partners, GRP Partners, Crosscut Ventures, Walter Kortschak, Jim Willenborg, Clark Landry, Founder Collective, Double M Capital, Siemer Ventures and Baroda Ventures.
The company intends to use the capital to expand its engineering team.
Led by CEO Brian Baumgart, CIO Julie Mattern and CTO Michael Lum, Gradient X provides large-scale direct response advertisers and performance based aggregators with a Demand Side Platform for mobile advertising. It partners with premium app publishers and exchanges and supply side platforms.
