294 investors acquired a 24% stake in the company via Crowdcube.com.
The company intends to use the capital to hire technical and commercial team members and expand its marketing efforts.
Founded in 2010 by Dom Jackman and Rob Symington, Escape the City has a community of more than 65,000 people who want to find new jobs or start businesses.
