Buffalo-based Z80 Labs Technology Incubator Launches

Softbank Capital, The Buffalo News, Campus Labs, PC Business Solutions and Synacor have partnered to sponsor the Downtown Buffalo-based Z80 Labs Technology Incubator.

Z80 Labs, which will launch on Monday, July 23 at The Buffalo News building in Downtown Buffalo, will focus on digital media, mobile and Net-based companies, providing support across a wide range of service areas to help Buffalo-based entrepreneurs grow into self-sustaining businesses.

It will be funded by Softbank Capital, and co-founders Jordan Levy and Ron Schreiber, and SCP Incubator LLC (via a $4m Innovate NY grant provided by Governor Cuomo through ESD). Corporate support in services and personnel will be provided by The Buffalo News, Campus Labs, PC Business Solutions and Synacor. Additional corporate sponsors will be added in the future.

The first companies selected for Z80 Labs will be announced July 23-24 during Z80 Labs’ official grand opening. To apply to Z80 Labs, visit Z80Labs.com.
