Yarrah Organic Petfood, a Harderwijk, The Netherlands-based provider of organic cat and dog food, has received a private equity investment of undisclosed amount from Vendis Capital.
Founded in 1992 by Jan-Jaap Roelevink, Yarrah Organic Petfood offers products ranging from organic dry and wet food to organic snacks, which are sold through more than 5,300 stores, mainly bio shops.
The company, whose products are recognized by the most relevant organic accreditations, including SKAL, ISO 22000 and the EKO accreditation, has a strong presence in Germany and France, and sells its products in over 28 countries worldwide.
Following the investment, Vendis Capital, which has taken a stake in the company, will help Yarrah continue to grow.
