Wave Accounting, a Toronto, ON, Canada-based free cloud based accounting software for small businesses, has raised $12m in Series B funding.
Backers include new investor the Social+Capital Partnership, and existing investors Charles River Ventures (CRV) and OMERS Ventures.
Led by CEO Kirk Sampson, Wave Accounting is a free online accounting application designed specifically for small businesses owners and solo entrepreneurs. It offers easy accounting with invoicing, expense tracking, reporting, personal finance, multi-user/multi-business access.
