Uscoop, a social commerce platform for preps, has joined the Mountain View-based 500 Startups Accelarator.
As a part of the program, the company will receive up to $100k in funding and access to a world-class network of designers and mentors.
Founded in Washington, D.C. by Jocelyn Gailliot, Madeline Moore, September Rinnier, Uscoop is a private college lifestyle and flash deal website for student-members to buy vouchers at a discount for select online brands. The deals are inspired by undergrad and grad dorm room and style photos featured in the core editorial sections of the website, Campus Cribs and Campus Style Watch.
