SediciDodici Raises €900K in Angel Funding

SediciDodici, a Pordenone Technology Park, Italy-based medtech startup, has raised €900k in first funding from a consortium of business angels of Italian Angels for Growth.

The round was led by Antonio Leone.

Founded by Raul Pietrini, SediciDodici aims to bring to market – within a couple of years – Smart Clot, a device capable of monitoring and predict in just three minutes a thrombotic event, cause of stroke and heart attack, which was developed in collaboration with the CRO of Aviano. The potential market for the technology includes hospitals, clinical laboratories and surgery centers for cardiovascular disease.
The company employs eight people with different and complementary skills.
