Pair Raises $4.2M in First Funding

According to the company’s blog (read here), Pair, a new social network for couples and YCombinator startup, has raised $4.2m in seed funding.

– Dave Morin,
– Paul Buchheit,
– Michael Birch,
– Sam Altman,

– Alexis Ohanian,
– Garry Tan,
– Harjeet Taggar,
– Gary Vaynerchuk,
– Brandee Barker,
– Brian Pokorny,
– Elad Gil, and
– Susan Wu.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its mobile development and design team.

Co-founded by Oleg Kostour, Jamie Murai, Anton Krutiansky, Aswinkumar Rajendiran and Michael Petrov, Pair is an app that allows the two of the couple to text and share videos, photos, scketch, etc.
Pair, which is currently available for iPhone, has been downloaded by over 220,000 people to date.
