Zutux Limited, a Trafford Park, Manchester, UK-based furniture manufacturer, has received a £950k investment from the North West Fund for Development Capital, managed by YFM Equity Partners.
The company intends to use the proceeds from the investment to grow its range of products for business and online customers.
Founded by managing director Roger Butterworth and director Kevin Charles in January 2010, Zutux makes fitted kitchen and bedroom furniture as well as free standing furniture items, including book shelves, desks and multi-media storage units.
The firm has its headquarters and manufacturing operations in Trafford Park, Manchester, and employs 45 staff.
Sir Eric Peacock, chairman of Halo International, the fine furniture group, will join the company’s board as non-executive chairman.
