Zauber Raises $1M in Funding

Zauber, a Buenos Aires, Argentina-based software company specialized in Consumer Web, Social Analytics and Big Data projects, has just raised $1m in funding.

Backers include AxVentures-Pymar Fund.

The company intends to use the funding to develop new products and grow its business in Silicon Valley, setting up a local office.

Founded 5 years ago by by CEO Gabriel Baños and other five local software engineers, Zauber provides high-end software development services for Internet startups from Latin America and Silicon Valley. Its lab uses Agile and Lean Startup practices to incubate and explore new product and business ideas, and transform them into independent companies through spin-offs.
Clients in the USA include Al Jazeera, JWT, Coca-Cola and MuleSoft, among others.

Zauber, which has a creative team of 45 people combining engineering and UX skills, together with mathematicians and machine learning engineers, is currently hiring (http://zauberlabs.com/careers).
